How Can Crispr Experts Help?
Gene editing is a form of genetic manipulation through which genetic disorders may be corrected or specific qualitiies of a living organism can be improved. CRISP-Cas9 technique can be used to alter the human genome. CRISPR technology can 'cut' DNA at specific places, allowing sequences to be deleted or edited. Genetic disorders that CRISPR could potentially cure include cancer, cystic fibrosis and even AIDS. CRISPR gene editing can also be used to make changes in human embryos however this requires further research.
