Gene editing is a form of genetic manipulation through which genetic disorders may be corrected or specific qualitiies of a living organism can be improved. CRISP-Cas9 technique can be used to alter the human genome. CRISPR technology can 'cut' DNA at specific places, allowing sequences to be deleted or edited.
