Profile Summary

I have been an academician, researcher and a public speaker for the last eleven years. My skills-set comprises of my experience and education as a prosthodontist in clinics along with research abilities to work in laboratory with immunohistochemical, morphometric techniques, cell culturing, microscopy including confocal and statistical analysis of data. As a dental teacher in prosthodontics my efforts to communicate difficult topics with ease and simplicity have been awarded. I have successfully supervised and managed research projects in a true team spirit leading to publications in peer reviewed journals. My collaborative skills are highlighted by my ongoing associations and invitations as a guest speaker in research and public speaking across Europe, America, Australia, China and India. The present area of my research is the neuromuscular damage and swallowing dysfunction caused by years of snoring. I am also in process of setting up a model to study effects of vibration and neurotrophins on human cultured muscle and stem cells, in regenerative medicine.
