Profile Summary

As a food scientist, I’m interested in influencing and developing next-generation diets and wish to be a part of developing new and innovative solutions. In my current role, I have worked in proposing recommendations for new product development using food science and AI principles by analyzing product databases, research papers, patents, recipes, social media, etc., I am also in the process of developing a model by implementing the fundamental principles of food science and technology to develop new product formulations through machine learning (ML) techniques that can recommend to users novel and flavourful ingredient concepts for different products. As a part of the research team, I have worked in identifying new trends and opportunity areas by understanding consumer data, scientific research, new launches, and innovations. I have worked on content creation like blogs and technical papers, presentations on current and potential trends, technologies, innovations, new ingredients in the food sector, and food industry updates. As a food technologist, I performed shelf-life studies and sensory evaluations of new baby food formulations, controlled process parameters and ensured food safety & quality control, interacted with vendors on various raw material supply and negotiations, handled business development streams like interaction with pediatricians and nutritionists. As a food safety executive, I have conducted food safety audits in different FBOs for regulatory compliance, performed food analysis in the laboratory and conducted training for food handlers on food safety issues I’ve also interned with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, New Delhi in the Standards division and contributed to developing standards for Nutraceutical regulations.
