Profile Summary

During my studies in engineering, I specialized myself towards IT, mathematics and physics. I then conducted research as a PhD student in the field of materials science, in particular simulations of materials properties at the sub-atomic scale. These required High-Performance Computing skills, development of scientific code, automation of calculations with scripts, post-processing and data analysis. I then moved to University of Namur to create new educational activities for young people, in view of popularizing the IT field. More particularly, I used my knowledge of AI to create human-neuron neural networks, board games about project managements, etc. In parallel of these past experiences, I followed a strong set of Coursera and Edx Course focussing on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Robotics and Self Driving, to name a few of them. My engineering and research background have given me a lot of different technical skills in programming, research, modelling, engineering in general but also soft skills: I'm indeed a very fast learner, always wanting to learn new things, I'm able to deal with challenging issues, able to share with colleagues, work in teams, able to communicate in front of large broad audiences (conferences) or small technical audiences (seminars, ...), able to write highly (or even less) technical reports, and able to teach. From now, I am a part-time teacher for evening classes in IT Bachelor in Namur, and part-time freelancer. I'm looking for R&D challenges in particular in AI and robotics but other fields may be of interest as well ! I hold animate robotics camps for children ;-)
