I am a bioinformatician with an MSc in Bioinformatics (CGPA 4.48/5.00, National Research Tomsk State University, Russia) and three peer-reviewed publications, including a shared first-authored paper accepted in Genes & Genomics. My expertise spans microbiome analysis, metagenomics, multi-omics data integration, and machine learning applied to large-scale biological datasets. Current & Recent Projects: My most substantial project is a cross-ethnic meta-analysis of the salivary microbiome in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), integrating eight 16S rRNA sequencing datasets across 779 samples from seven global populations (Austria, China, Finland, India, New Zealand, Poland, Taiwan). I independently managed the complete bioinformatics pipeline — raw sequence processing in QIIME2, alpha/beta diversity analysis, differential abundance testing with ANCOM-BC2, multi-cohort batch correction using ConQuR, and cross-pipeline validation in R. A manuscript from this work is currently under review for journal submission. My MSc thesis investigated the effect of physical activity on the gut microbiome of child athletes using Oxford Nanopore Technology (V1–V9 16S rRNA) long-read sequencing, applying NanoASV, PRONAME, PICRUSt2, and Networkx for taxonomic, functional, and metabolic profiling, with the full dataset deposited to NCBI.
