Profile Summary

I did my PhD in Microfluidics, where I worked on incorporating statistical and neural network techniques to generate key insights from complex engineering data. After my PhD, I worked on developing microfluidic medical devices for the point of care diagnosis of diseases. To mention few of my works closer to the notified position, I along with my team adapted microfluidics to develop tampons or sanitary napkins that will allow women to quickly and discreetly self-diagnose Urinary Tract Infections. This concept is commercialized. I along with my fellows have also developed an Origami based device for the quick detection of Dengue. I have also worked on developing paper-based devices for microbial assays and liver disease diagnosis. I have so far published 34 international research articles in reputed international journals and successfully completed government funded projects sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology India, National Institute of Technology Calicut India, Kerala State Council for Science Technology and Innovation India etc. My key skills include Product Development, Proposal writing, documentation, project execution, auditing, technical writing, technical presentation.
