I am a Mechanical Engineer and PhD Researcher at the University of Wollongong, Australia, specializing in energy engineering, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and computational aeroacoustics (CAA). My current research focuses on the self-start performance of vertical axis wind turbines (VAWTs), combining advanced numerical modeling and aerodynamic optimization. With over four years of academic experience as a lecturer and assistant lecturer, I have taught thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer, while also mentoring engineering students on their final projects. I hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kırıkkale University, Türkiye, as a recipient of the Türkiye Bursları Scholarship (2019–2022), and I am currently funded by the prestigious Australian Government Research Training Program (AGRTP) Scholarship.
