Profile Summary

Hi, I'm Chinwe. I’m a biostatistician and epidemiologist with a background in economics, and I work mainly on public health, clinical, and research data analysis. I enjoy working with data, answering research questions, and helping people make sense of their findings in a simple and accurate way. Most of the work I take on is around statistical analysis for medical, clinical, and public health studies. Umm in very proficient with tools R, SPSS, Stata, SAS, EViews and Python for quantitative analysis, and I also use ATLAS.ti and NVivo for qualitative and mixed methods research. My experience includes data cleaning, data management, descriptive analysis, hypothesis testing, regression modelling, survival analysis, survey data analysis, and preparing tables, figures, and result summaries for research projects. I currently work as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at High Impact Medicine, where I support data-driven public health work. Alongside that, I also work as a freelancer on Upwork, where I have supported researchers, students, clinicians, and health-focused teams with data analysis for different types of projects. My previous and ongoing work has included clinical datasets, epidemiologic studies, public health surveys, mixed methods research, and most recently, patient-level data analysis for a medical institution I work with. My training in economics gave me a strong quantitative foundation, and over time my work has grown more focused on biostatistics, clinical epidemiology, and health research. I am also Good Clinical Practice (ICH E6 R3) certified, which supports my understanding of research standards in clinical and public health work. I am most comfortable in roles where I can focus on the analysis side of research and help turn data into results that are useful and easy to understand. Looking forward to our collaboration 🙂
