Profile Summary

I am currently an Associate Professor of Geoinformatics at the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Gangadhar Meher University, Sambalpur, specializing in the intersection of Geomatics, Water Resource, and Environmental Engineering. I bring two decades of dedicated research and teaching experience to my work. My academic foundation is anchored by a Ph.D. in Soil & Water Conservation Engineering from the highly respected IIT Kharagpur, complemented by Master's degrees in Remote Sensing and Environmental Sciences from BIT, Mesra and Sambalpur University. My scientific rigor is demonstrated by over 90 research publications and my role as a peer reviewer for over two dozen leading international journals (including Elsevier, Springer, and Wiley). I have been honored with several high-profile awards, notably the Jawaharlal Nehru Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Award (ICAR, New Delhi, 2012) and the Young Achiever Award (Indian Society of Geomatics, 2013). These contributions earned international recognition with my inclusion in the 29th Edition of Marquis Who's Who in the World, USA (2011).
