Profile Summary

I am an independent interdisciplinary researcher with a Master’s degree in Criminology from Valencian International University (Spain) and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Sciences & Sociology from the University of the Basque Country (Spain). I am about to commence a Master’s degree in Neuroscience at Aix-Marseille University and am preparing to begin doctoral research in 2026 focused on the neurobiological mechanisms of consciousness, cognitive processing, and computational modelling of brain function.
My research interests encompass criminology, psychology, psychiatry, physics, artificial intelligence, and computational sciences, with a particular focus on neuroscience, consciousness studies, cognitive neuroscience, computational neuroscience, neurodevelopment, and the intersection of neuroscience, consciousness, and physics.

I integrate my academic expertise with unique experiential insight as a survivor of severe early-life trauma involving psychological, physical, sexual, and coercive control. This lived experience enriches my understanding of complex neurodevelopmental and cognitive phenomena, informing my interdisciplinary research.

My foundational research includes studies on serial homicide, cognitive distortions, psychopathy, narcissism, trauma-informed criminology, and neurocriminology. This body of work, initially developed as my Master’s thesis in Criminology, has been published both as a book titled La realidad desde la perspectiva de un asesino en serie (Aula Magna – McGraw Hill, 2025) and as a scientific article in the Ocronos Scientific Journal. I am preparing an updated and refined English version for international academic publication.

I was offered admission to a PhD program in Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Sydney based on an independently designed longitudinal research proposal investigating neurocognitive trauma and intelligence; however, I was unable to enrol due to a lack of funding. My forthcoming doctoral research will further explore the neuroscience of consciousness, cognitive processing, and computational modelling.

I have pursued interdisciplinary study and independent research in neuroscience, computational modelling, psychometrics, data science, and related fields through coursework and self-directed study at institutions such as Stanford, Duke, Yale, Johns Hopkins, and Imperial College London. Additionally, I am engaged in computer science and programming education to support applied coding and computational research methodologies.

My professional experience includes psychiatric meta-analysis, systematic reviews of PTSD diagnostic accuracy, development of psychometric scales, forensic research collaboration with law enforcement agencies, and neuropsychiatric technology projects. Currently, I am preparing applied psychometric research under contract to develop cognitive profiling and psychometric measurement tools, alongside an integrative review on neurodevelopmental and arousal dysregulation mechanisms related to early trauma for academic submission.
