I am assistant professor at Sonoma State University, CA, USA. I also actively research on organic, inorganic, and material chemistry. My research at (Sonoma State University and Hanyang University) focuses on developing high-performance nanomaterials and polymers for the adsorption and decomposition of environmental pollutants. With a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia, I have extensive knowledge and experience in the synthesis, characterization, and application of nanocomposites, coatings, and films for various applications. Some of my notable achievements include: Publishing over 30 research articles and book chapters in the field of nanomaterials, polymers, and environmental remediation. Receiving the Korean National Fellowship ("Brainpool Program") in 2020 for my research excellence and innovation. Developing biodegradable and eco-friendly nanocomposite polymer coatings and films that could prevent metals from electrochemical and biological corrosion during my PhD research. I am passionate about advancing the science and technology of nanomaterials and polymers, and contributing to the development of sustainable and effective solutions for the environmental challenges faced by the society. I am always eager to learn new skills and collaborate with other researchers and professionals.
