Profile Summary

I am a biomedical scientist with over 8 years of research experience in cancer biology, chronic inflammation, and translational medicine, currently completing an independent Young Scientist Fellowship funded by ICMR-DHR, Government of India. I hold a Ph.D. in Biomedical Science from PGIMER, Chandigarh, where my research focused on the role of Myeloid-Derived Suppressor Cells (MDSCs) in tumor progression and immune modulation in pancreatic cancer. I’ve worked extensively on clinical samples (tissue, blood, urine, and saliva), as well as cancer cell lines (e.g., PANC-1). I have hands-on experience in mitophagy, apoptosis, EMT, and stemness-related pathways, particularly those involving mitochondrial dysfunction and the PINK1/Parkin axis. As part of my ongoing fellowship, I am investigating the anti-tumor potential of natural flavonoids (Morin, Fisetin), in combination with gemcitabine, using molecular, cellular, and in silico approaches. I have authored several publications, presented at national and international forums, and reviewed research articles for reputed journals. Core Skills & Expertise: i.
