Profile Summary

I am a biomedical scientist and scientific consultant with expertise in functional genomics, cardiovascular, neurovascular, and metabolic diseases, single-cell and spatial biology, multi-omics, disease modelling, and experimental strategy. My work combines experimental and computational approaches, including bulk and single-cell transcriptomics, epigenomics, regulatory genomics, CRISPR-based perturbation and gene editing, spatial and in situ omics, proteomics, high-content imaging, and multimodal data integration. I also have experience with primary cells, engineered cell systems, in vitro disease models, co-culture systems, and organoid-based approaches. My research has focused particularly on atherosclerosis, vascular biology, neurovascular coupling, lipid handling, inflammation, fibrosis, and cardiometabolic disease, while also extending into broader systems biology and experimentally grounded cellular modelling. I support projects across the research workflow, including experimental design, technology selection, bioinformatics and multi-omics analysis, target and mechanism prioritisation, data interpretation, literature synthesis, manuscript and grant review, and scientific strategy. I hold a PhD in biomedical science and have extensive postdoctoral research experience in cardiovascular genomics, neurovascular coupling, and functional biology. I am particularly suited to projects requiring integration of experimental biology, computational analysis, and critical scientific judgement.
