Profile Summary

I am a statistician and PhD candidate specialising in survival analysis, biostatistics, and hybrid machine learning models applied to clinical and economic data. I hold a BSc and MSc in Statistics and serve as a Lecturer in the Department of Statistics at Federal University Wukari, Nigeria. My doctoral research develops a Hybrid Semi-Markov-Transformer model for cervical cancer survival prediction, combining deep learning with stochastic processes to address extreme missingness and cross-context validation challenges. The model is trained on approximately 30,000 SEER patient records and externally validated on clinical data from National Hospital Abuja. Beyond survival analysis, I have published work in time series forecasting, implementing hybrid BiLSTM with jump-diffusion processes and structural break detection on macroeconomic data. I work in R and Python, with experience across Cox proportional hazards models, Kaplan-Meier estimation, Semi-Markov chains, LSTM architectures, and Bayesian methods. I assist researchers with manuscript statistical sections, model validation, result interpretation, and publication-ready output. I have five peer-reviewed publications and maintain reproducible code repositories on GitHub.
