I am currently an invited Professor of Engineering at Polytechnique Montreal, an official expert, and head of the Center for Process Design and Simulation, University of Tehran, Iran (email: sotudeh@ut.ac.ir). Over my career, I have published over 200 peer-reviewed journal articles, 4 chapters in multiple authors books and 4 books, 116 articles in conference proceedings in chemical and process engineering, conducted over 200 industrial short courses in process design and simulation using wide variety of industrial process simulators and delivered 40 plenary, keynote or invited lectures, supervised 96 postgraduates (postdoctoral fellows, Ph.D. and Master students) and mentored over 87 senior projects for undergraduate students.

I am the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Chemical Product and Process Modeling published by de Gruyter, Germany, a fellow of the Iranian Elite Foundation (FIEF) and winner of Allameh-Tatabaei's award, the honorary fellow of Iranian Association of Polymer and Chemical Engineers and winner of their Distinguished Professorship Award. I am currently a registered professional engineer in Tehran with the Organization of Official Experts. My greatest executive strength is in helping universities, research centers, public and private R & Ds find efficient solutions and strategies to ensure profitability targets are met through formulating comprehensive applied research projects.
