I am a PhD Research Scholar in Applied Mathematics with strong expertise in mathematical modelling, differential equations, and dynamical systems, particularly in the context of ecological and biological systems. My research focuses on phytoplankton–zooplankton interaction models, incorporating complex real-world effects such as environmental toxins, prey refuge, additional food sources, harvesting strategies, diffusion, and spatio-temporal pattern formation. I have extensive experience in formulating nonlinear deterministic and reaction–diffusion models, conducting stability and bifurcation analysis, and applying analytical techniques including Sotomayor’s theorem, Turing instability analysis, and optimal control theory. Alongside analytical work, I am proficient in numerical simulations and interpretation of results using tools such as MATLAB and Python, with a strong emphasis on reproducibility and clear scientific presentation. My ongoing PhD research involves developing novel ecological models and investigating their qualitative dynamics, including saddle-node and Hopf bifurcations, spatio-temporal patterns, and optimal harvesting policies. I have also worked on research projects related to toxic phytoplankton dynamics, fear and Allee effects, and predator–prey systems with spatial diffusion. In addition to research, I have teaching and mentoring experience in undergraduate and postgraduate mathematics, including ordinary and partial differential equations, linear algebra, calculus, and mathematical modelling.
