Profile Summary

I received my PhD investigating hepatitis B virus related liver cancer. My postdoc research is aimed at understanding the role of the tumor microenvironment in immune system evasion and cancer initiation and progression. I have intellectually contributed to two patents (Use of Short Chain Fatty Acids in Cancer Prevention and GLP-26 as a Novel Antiviral Against HBV) and was recently awarded a T32 training grant in Tumor Virology from NIH.
