Profile Summary

I am a licensed pharmacist with a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmacology & Toxicology) and strong experience in experimental and network pharmacology, cardiovascular research, and scientific communication. My academic and research background integrates wet-lab pharmacology, computational/network-based approaches, and evidence-based scientific writing, enabling contributions across the research pipeline—from study design to publication. I have served as a Principal Investigator on a competitively funded research project supported by the Science, Technology & Innovation Funding Authority (STDF), where I led project design, execution, data analysis, and reporting. This role strengthened my expertise in independent research leadership, grant management, and interdisciplinary collaboration. My research focuses on cardiovascular and metabolic pharmacology, with particular emphasis on the pharmacological effects and mechanisms of natural compounds in blood pressure regulation, inflammation, fibrosis, and related signaling pathways. I routinely apply network pharmacology, molecular docking, pathway enrichment, and systems-level analyses to identify drug–target interactions and elucidate mechanisms of action, complementing experimental findings. My work has resulted in peer-reviewed publications in Q1 journals, including the European Journal of Pharmacology. In addition, I have university-level teaching experience in pharmacology and biomedical sciences, which has enhanced my ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and effectively. This experience directly supports my work in scientific and medical writing, including literature reviews, research summaries, grant-related materials, and educational content.
