I am an experienced geophysicist with over 25 years' experience in the exploration, research and government sectors. I have a strong and diverse technical background which includes expertise in potential field and EM methods, global seismology, advanced spatial data infrastructures, scientific software development, project and change management, big data and machine learning applications across a wide range of environmental and geoscience areas of interest.  Some of my career highlights include the following :

• A PhD in exploration geophysics at Monash University in which I developed a novel forward magnetic modelling technique for application in regions of very high magnetic susceptibility and a new quantitative interpretation method for down-hole Magnetometric Resistivity surveys.

• Development of automated real-time monitoring systems for nuclear monitoring using global seismic monitoring networks and provision of high level advice to international partners.

• Provision of expert technical advice to the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) on the application of integrated ground and airborne geophysical techniques to On-Site Inspections for underground nuclear explosions.

• Leading Geoscience Australia's contribution to the Unlocking the Landsat Archive (ULA) project tasked with calibrating and making the archive of Landsat Data over Australia accessible to users as Analysis Ready Data on the National Computational Infrastructure.

• Initiating and driving the early development of the Australian Geoscience Data Cube (now branded "Digital Earth Australia") - a High Performance Data infrastructure that is critical to the application of remote sensing data to continental scale environmental challenges in Australia.

• Founding the Discrete Global Grid Systems (DGGS) Standards Working Group under the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) and building an international team to develop and publish the first international standard for DGGS.
