Dr. Malik has authored 25+ publications in high-impact SCI/ABDC/CABS/Scopus-indexed international journals and actively contributes to the academic community through conference leadership roles and a reviewer for more than 30 prestigious journals such as Technovation, Trends in Food Science and Technology, Sustainable Future, Future Foods and many more. Alongside academia, he engages in consulting, advisory work, funded research projects, and executive education, collaborating with universities, industry, and public institutions to support digital sustainability and net-zero-oriented innovation, contributing to multiple UN SDGs including SDG2, SDG 3, SDG 9, SDG 12, SDG 13, and SDG 17.
