Publishing first author and co-author manuscripts and research reports in scientific journals. Results-oriented leader and eager to make improvements for the community, by increasing economic growth and improving the quality of life and the built environment. I got an international PhD in “Urban Regeneration and Economic Development” and I have been a visiting student and a visiting research scholar at San Diego State University (CA) and Northeastern University (MA) in the USA, attending classes and lectures about community development, planning theory and practice, Spatial planning, urban regeneration design, real estate development, brownfield redevelopment, transit-oriented development, sustainable urban development, Local Economic Development principles and practice, Applied Micro Policy Analysis. I am a Marie Curie Experienced researcher and I have been involved for about three years in a program called MAPS-LED, “Multidisciplinary Approach to Plan Smart Specialization Strategies for Local Economic Development”, funded by the European Union’s HORIZON 2020 program for Research and Innovation. Accordingly, I presented the findings of the conducted urban research in various events and conferences and published several papers in international journals I managed groups of researchers and coordinated work streams under demanding deadlines. I have a background of Architect, holding a Master's degree in Architecture with honors and I have been working as a Freelance Architect and in collaboration with international companies in Italy, the Netherlands and the UK. I worked on public and private projects, especially at the urban scale, covering mainly the stages from concept to tender. Moreover, I had the possibility to do several experiences of site visits, evaluating and writing detailed reports.
