Profile Summary

I am a highly organised, flexible and committed senior scientist with broad life sciences expertise. I received my PhD in Immunology from the University of Paris VII in 2009. I also obtained a MRes in Sciences, Health & applications on 2005. I have spent 10 years in research, including a 2+ years in a biotech startup company. My scientific key achievements in Academia have been to identify the structure and action mechanism of a major cancer tumor gene and the characterisation of a rare immunodeficiency. During my industrial experience, I have dealt with protein engineering projects as well as optimising downstream and upstream processes. I have research experience in immunology, molecular biology, DNA Repair (NHEJ & HR), cancer biology, cell biology, biochemistry, synthetic biology, design of experiment (DoE), and bioprocessing. I practiced on various model organisms: mammals (human, CHO, mouse), insect, yeast (Pichia pastoris) and bacteria (Escherichia coli & Pseudomonas putida). I have used many techniques, tissue cell culture, retroviral transduction, complementation assays, ELISA, biochemical assay development, flow cytometry, DNA cloning and assembly methods, RNA extraction, protein expression (mammalian, insect, yeast and bacteria) and purification, confocal and electron-microscopy, fermentation (Ambr250 & 30L). I am the co-author of 11 publications, 10 out of 11 have been published in Top10% scientific journals and cited more than 644 times. My thesis has also been published in french by Editions Universitaires Europeennes.
