Profile Summary

I am a PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering with a background in bioinformatics. My research focuses on bioinformatics, multi‑omics analysis, Raman spectroscopy, and biomedical data science. My academic background spans a Master’s in Bioinformatics and a Bachelor’s in Cellular & Molecular Biology, grounding my work at the interface of computation and experiment. My projects include end‑to‑end analysis of lipidomics, transcriptomics, and metagenomics datasets for biomarker discovery and disease mechanism insight, as well as spectral modeling in Raman‑based diagnostics and liquid biopsy research. Alongside computational work, I bring practical wet‑lab experience: DNA/RNA/protein extraction, human cell culture, sample preparation, and experimental design/QC for molecular and imaging studies. This dual perspective helps align data pipelines with assay constraints, improve data quality at the source, and translate results into experimentally testable hypotheses. Beyond research, I have served as a journal reviewer, presented at computational oncology and biomedical meetings, and mentored students in study design, data analysis, and scientific communication. I collaborate effectively with clinicians, bench scientists, and data teams to deliver rigorous, reproducible outputs.
