Profile Summary

I have an extensive pharmacology and nutritional science training (PhD) and an MS focused on brain aging and nutritional intervention. I learnt peptide based drug development during my postdoc at the University of Alberta, which led me to my first role as an independent project leader. I have also completed medicine training towards USMLE 1, which gives me a unique perspective on human pathophysiology and relate it to basic sciences. I have an extensive experience in multiple research areas including pharmacology, peptide drugs, nutraceutical research and translational research. Till date, I have published more than 50 research papers and attended 40+ conferences throughout the world as an invited speaker. I have worked with multiple government and industrial partners, write grant applications and lead projects to success with both publications and commercialization. As a creative scientist with flexible specialties, I nurture a wide interest across therapeutics, nutraceutical research, and their commercialization. I am looking forward to meet with collaborators from different areas and disciplines of life sciences, put together all their ideas supporting a therapeutic hypothesis, and translate it into a success story.
