Profile Summary

I'm an expert in nanotechnology, photonics and engineering with a multilingual (native English and German, C2 Spanish, C1 French) background. Throughout over 10 years of experience in R&D, I have developed innovative solutions to novel scientific and technical challenges, which I continue to pursue in my current position in the development of consumer product based on an imaging technology I invented. I hold a PhD in photonics from ICFO (UPC Barcelona) working on nanoscale quantum emitter control using 2D nanomaterials such as graphene. As a researcher, I gained in-depth experience in experiment design, scientific communication as co-author of 7 publications in high-impact scientific journals and 13 conference papers as well as scientific data analysis. In my current role leading the development of a consumer multispectral imaging system based on technology I invented, I have gained first-hand experience in patent writing, optical system design and rapid prototyping. I am also skilled in grant application writing and communicating scientific and technological content to non-technical audiences.
