Profile Summary

As part of my Ph.D. and postdoctoral training I gained experience conceptualizing, writing, and compiling successful grant applications per funding body requirements (over CAD$1 million funded). I wrote over a dozen peer-reviewed manuscripts, 26 abstracts, four technical reports, four periodicals as a first author, or as co-author, and presented oral and poster abstracts (award-winning) at over a dozen national and international conferences. I have peer-reviewed for six academic health, medical and nutrition journals as a recurring reviewer and conducted more than ten media interviews (TV, blogs, newspapers, podcasts). I am proficient with statistical analysis software (SAS, SPSS) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). I have a keen interest in public health nutrition stemming from my training as a Registered Dietitian, from a Master's degree in Public Health, and a Ph.D. in Nutritional Sciences.
