My PhD study is on the application of Deep learning techniques in the agriculture sector, specifically on the real time identification of individual cattle. My Masters degree was fundamental research into the effect of batch normalization on the generalisation ability of CNN's. My expertise is in computer vision and deep learning. My studies gave me the unique perspective of both approaching any problem from a fundamental research approach, while keeping the practicalities in mind that application based projects require. I'm I enjoy working on complex problems and trying to fit simple solutions to it. My goal is to use deep learning for good and make a change in the lives of many.
