Mixed-methods health researcher in programme evaluation, implementation science, and evidence synthesis | NIHR-funded |

Profile Summary

I am a mixed-methods health researcher with a PhD in dementia care and 12 years of experience across NHS-funded studies, applied public health research, and large-scale social research. My work spans the full research cycle from study design and qualitative data collection through to analysis, synthesis, and translating findings into accessible reports and policy briefs. My doctoral research investigated non-pharmacological interventions for people with dementia in acute hospital settings, conducted across two NHS hospitals in west London. My postdoctoral work, funded by NIHR, combined semi-structured interviewing, observational methods, and mixed-methods analysis using NVivo, and was grounded in implementation science frameworks including RE-AIM. Recent peer-reviewed publications include a first-authored feasibility study on arts interventions for inpatients with dementia (Arts & Health, 2025), co-authored with researchers at UCL and the University of Hertfordshire. Beyond dementia research, I spent three years as lead researcher for the Peabody Index, directing annual large-scale surveys of housing and wellbeing across London, producing flagship reports used by one of the UK's largest housing associations to inform strategy and advocacy. I offer freelance services in: evidence synthesis and systematic literature reviews; qualitative research design, interviewing, and thematic or framework analysis; programme evaluation and implementation assessment; and research report and policy brief writing for non-academic audiences. I am currently undertaking an MSc in Economics at Birkbeck, University of London, with a focus on econometric methods and health policy evaluation.
