Profile Summary

I am a board-certified vascular surgeon and PhD with over 15 years of clinical and academic experience. I currently serve as an Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of São Paulo (USP), where I teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows. My clinical expertise includes open and endovascular treatment of complex aortic and peripheral arterial disease, with a particular focus on physician-modified endografts (PMEGs), dissection, and aneurysm repair. My research portfolio includes prospective and retrospective cohort studies, systematic reviews, and clinical guideline development. I have authored and reviewed papers for leading journals and regularly collaborate with international teams on multicenter projects. I have also contributed to the creation of national vascular surgery guidelines and participate in peer review and editorial activities. I offer consulting in scientific writing, manuscript revision, research protocol design, literature synthesis (including GRADE methodology), and mentoring for early-career researchers and postgraduate students. I am also familiar with grant applications and academic publishing processes in both Portuguese and English.
