I am a Biomedical Scientist with a multidisciplinary background. I hold a Master's and a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and have worked as a researcher for over 15 years. During my first Postdoc scholarship in Molecular Pharmacology, I conducted a project focused on the development of novel redox-modulating agents based on natural compounds with antimicrobial, nematicidal, and antitumor activities and an in-depth study of their activity and modes of action. In a second Postdoctoral fellowship in Oncology, I worked on the development of a PDX (Patient-Derived Xenografts) model platform and the establishment of primary tumoral cell lines that would enable the characterization of extracellular vesicles to identify biomarkers of prognosis and therapeutic response in patients affected by that disease. Recently I started a career in Clinical Research, designing and reviewing study protocols. I have extensive know-how in writing scientific projects, reports, papers, and abstracts. Experience in bibliographic search in scientific databases with the ability to perform critical analysis of scientific literature.
