I am a graduate student at Johns Hopkins University pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science. I am a Google Cloud Platform certified Professional Data Engineer, and my business partners are an expert DevOps engineer and Google Cloud-certified Professional Cloud Architect, as well as another brilliant data scientist. I currently provide Analytics consulting services for a well-known professional sports team, where I'm implementing machine learning algorithms (e.g. gradient boosting algorithms) and more traditional statistical techniques such as generalized additive models. I have developed player projection models using a Markov chain Monte Carlo-based Bayesian framework. I typically implement my algorithms in R or Java, but I have formal Python training as well as advanced knowledge of Git workflow and Unix commands. I have experience deploying real-time predictive models in the cloud, building dynamic programming algorithms (return optimization subject to budget constraints), data structures and other algorithms.
