Profile Summary

Dr Emmie Fulton is the Director of BOUNCE Behavioural Science Ltd and Behavioural Advisor at Ailuna. She is a Behavioural Scientist and Psychologist with expertise in behaviour change intervention design, development, end-user co-creation and evaluation in a range of areas of behaviour change including specialism in health & well-being, public health, sustainable lifestyle change, safety behaviour, wearable tech adoption and consumer behaviour. After several years in clinical practice in the NHS and over 10 years in applied academic research with various organisations, she is excited to be dipping her toe into the world of behavioural science in action as part of BOUNCE Ltd. A skilled qualitative and quantitative researcher, she has conducted, published and disseminated research in a range of public health fields including smoking, alcohol and mental health. Throughout her career she has worked with a range of industry partners, applying findings to real-world solutions and settings. In addition to a Masters degree and Doctorate (PhD) in Health Psychology, she is a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, with experience of clinical NHS practice in mental health, eating disorders, bariatric surgery and pain management. Dr Fulton applies behavioural insights theory to the development of interventions designed to change and sustain health related (and other) behaviours. She has experience working with and consulting to local authorities, the public and private sector; and holds an honorary contract with Public Health England.
