Profile Summary

I have worked on research projects in biomaterials, 3D bioprinting, bioengineering, 3D tumour models, super-resolution microscopy, tumour biology, basic biology, genomics and pharmacology. I recently wrote the guide "Easy Bioinformatics: Essential Online Tools for Cancer Researchers" available on Amazon. In this guide, I explain all the concepts I used to teach researchers to complement and validate their data with public databases. It is always my pleasure to show others all the tricks I know to generate fast genomic results with public datasets and to do these analyses myself for others. These analyses include tumour vs normal expression, survival curves, heatmaps, volcano plots, and gene set enrichment analysis. Thanks to these skills, I have been part of many collaborations and my bioinformatic figures are showcased in several scientific publications. I also enjoy image analysis and recently produced a custom image analysis pipeline to count cell colonies stained with crystal violet for a research project in glioblastoma. I also have experience quantifying immunofluorescence images, 3D tumour models and have analysed super-resolution microscopy images with DNA-PAINT. I was part of the first publication that quantified GPCR clustering with super-resolution single-molecule microscopy. I have received an award for best dissertation with my published MSc literature review and my PhD thesis achieved no corrections. I am a fast writer with a wide understanding of several research fields involving biology, medicine and pharmacology. I have experience writing literature reviews, scientific articles and a book.
