I am a first year Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery resident seeking writing and editing assignments regarding all topics of health and medicine. My training includes all aspects of medicine, research, and academia. I have firsthand experience as a medical doctor in clinical practice, including diagnosing, examining, and treating patients. Through these patient encounters I have developed skills to simplify and communicate health information to patients without medical backgrounds. I am well trained in a wide array of healthcare specialties with an emphasis in podiatry, surgery, diabetic wound care, infection management, vascular disease, radiologic diagnosis, and microbiology. I have researched many studies with involvement in literature evaluation, study design, and methods as well as data collection, analysis, and interpretation. Through residency academia I have stayed up to date with the newest healthcare findings and their direct applications. In addition, I have trained dozens of medical students how to perform medical examinations, diagnose, treat, and communicate with patients.

While my career is focused on diagnosing and treating podiatric pathology, my passion is for writing and editing medical documents. This includes everything from journal articles, posters, PowerPoints, and even CVs and personal statements for entrance into the medical profession.

I have written multiple medical projects summarizing large numbers of studies to synthesize publications and advise on medical devices. I am also the author of dozens of articles and presentations involving literature searches, study analysis, and designing PowerPoints of evidence-based treatments in AMA and APA format to present to healthcare professionals. In addition I have created and designed multiple scientific posters and 2 scientific articles accepted to be published in the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Teaching & Learning in Medicine: An International Journal. In my academic training I have gained a substantial level of experience proofreading and reformatting medical students' articles and presentations prior to delivery. This has enabled me to gain strong editing skills. I am detail oriented and a perfectionist with skills editing for spelling, grammar, and structure.
