Profile Summary

I am an academician and public health researcher with over seven years of experience in population health research, health professions education, and academic consulting. I hold a Ph.D. in Dentistry (Public Health Dentistry) and currently serve as a senior faculty member (Reader/Associate Professor equivalent), with extensive experience in teaching, research supervision, and scholarly service. My expertise includes public health research design, epidemiology, health-related quality of life assessment, survey and instrument development, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis. My doctoral research focused on the development and validation of an oral health–related quality of life instrument for children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities, reflecting my strong interest in patient-centered outcomes and inclusive research methodologies. I have led and collaborated on a wide range of studies, including randomized controlled trials, cross-sectional studies, qualitative research, and systematic reviews, with publications in peer-reviewed international journals. In addition to academic research, I am an International FAIMER Fellow with formal training in health professions education, educational leadership, and reflective teaching practice. This background informs my ability to contribute expert input on research design, program evaluation, curriculum development, and faculty development initiatives. I am also the co-founder of Statzwizz, a freelance research consultancy established with my husband, through which we have successfully completed over 500 research projects across health sciences and allied disciplines. This experience has strengthened my applied research skills, interdisciplinary collaboration, and ability to deliver timely, high-quality research support. I offer expertise in public health research, evidence synthesis, data interpretation, health education strategies, and academic consultation, supporting projects that require methodological rigor, clarity, and socially relevant outcomes.
