My doctoral research at Dalhousie University focused on wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) of copper-based naval alloys, investigating microstructure–corrosion–mechanical property relationships using SEM, EBSD, XRD, TEM, FIB-SEM, XPS, and electrochemical methods including potentiodynamic polarisation, EIS, and Mott-Schottky analysis. My first PhD at IISc explored electrodeposited high-entropy alloy (HEA) coatings, resulting in a body of work that has garnered over 1,145 citations and an h-index of 19. I have authored 40 peer-reviewed publications and 2 book chapters across journals including Corrosion Science, Materials Science & Engineering A, Surface and Coatings Technology, Surfaces & Interfaces, Materialia, Materials Characterization, Scientific African, Thin Solid Films, Heliyon, Materials Research & Technology, and Journal of Alloys and Compounds.
