Profile Summary

Since obtaining my pharmacy license I'm interested in drug therapy, especially in the research and development of drugs with a novel mechanism of action. I am focused on the central nervous system, my main research areas being neuro- and psychopharmacology. I have gained a lot of experience in working with laboratory animals (mice and rats) by conducting in-vivo and in-vitro experiments. I was involved in every stage of the experiments, not only in the biological sample collection but also in the analysis of samples by using analytical chemistry methods (high performace liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry). Finally, I can state that beside interpreting my own data, I really enjoy helping others with biostatistical issues and scientific writing.
