After completion of my PhD in Infection, Inflammation and Immunity from the University of Southampton in 2015, I spent 5 years in the CAR T research field at Autolus, a clinical-stage biotech company. Being a R&D project lead and a project manager during this period, I gained experience and insight into what is needed to progress a CAR T candidate from preclinical to clinical trials, and which key activities are required after to push forward for commercial and patient access. Since then I have transitioned into the field of healthcare management consulting, with a focus on market access in oncology and ATMPs, and worked at VMLY&R Health Medical Consulting for 2 years as an Associate Management Consultant. I was involved in various projects with Global- and EMEA-based clients, developing a range of Value Communication deliverables including GVDs, Value Decks, Differentiation Decks, Objection Handlers, and also peer-reviewed publications including conference posters and research articles.
