Profile Summary

I am a PhD researcher in experimental condensed matter physics at the University of Hamburg (Wiesendanger Group), specializing in spin-polarized scanning tunneling microscopy (SP-STM), ultrathin magnetic films, and antiferromagnetic spin textures. As a Marie-Curie Fellow (SPEAR-ITN), I work on multilayer Mn/Ir(111) systems using MBE and SP-STM under ultra-high vacuum at cryogenic temperatures. My hands-on expertise includes STM/AFM, MBE, magneto-optical and electrical transport measurements, micromagnetic simulations (MuMax, Vampire), and cleanroom nanofabrication. I hold an MSc in Nanoscience from the University of Groningen, Netherlands, awarded through a full scholarship from the Zernike Institute for Advanced Materials. My work has been presented through oral and poster talks at major international conferences (ICM 2024 Bologna, Dutch SPM Day, MPI-Halle, JEMS, ESM) and recognized with multiple best-poster awards. I’ve published in ACS Nano, The Journal of Chemical Physics, and Nanomaterials, with a first-author paper under review in Advanced Materials. Over the years, I’ve contributed to diverse research areas, including: Spin Seebeck effect in YIG Computational spectroscopy of protein fibrils 2D material-based photodetectors Self-healing polymer composites Charge transport in organic thermoelectrics This interdisciplinary experience allows me to assist with projects in magnetism, STM, spintronics, nanofabrication, simulation, and scientific writing. In addition, having studied and conducted research in Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, and India, I can also offer consulting and mentorship for students pursuing higher education abroad in STEM fields, including navigating fellowships, applications, and international research programs.
