Profile Summary

Bachelor (2013), Master (2015) and Doctor (2019) in Physics from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. I have interest and experience in the area of high energy astrophysics and cosmic ray physics, having worked on the theme throughout the master's degree. I had participated in the Pierre Auger Collaboration focusing on the study of anisotropy and composition of cosmic rays. In the PhD, i have worked for the DAMIC Collaboration, studying direct detection of dark matter, instrumentation in particle physics and simulation of the passage of particles through matter. Currently, i am integrating the group of Prof. Bruno Mota (UFRJ) applying methods of statistical mechanics in the understanding of biological systems. The main project is the study of morphological properties of the mammalian brain. All of these projects had in common the techniques of scientific computer programming for Monte Carlo simulation and applied statistics for data analysis (also together with programming). I am a experienced programmer in c, c++ and Pyhton currently developing an artificial intelligence that automatically identifies golden mussels in underwater photographs.
