My work primarily focused on identifying transcription factors regulating Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD1) gene which included HNF-1 family of transcription factors and their main role in transcriptional regulation, cell proliferation and progression of the disease. Our research work included promoter bashing experiments and DNA-protein interactions using HEK293T & COS-1 cell lines.
