Profile Summary

I am a bioprocess and microbial enzyme specialist with expertise in fermentation biotechnology, sustainable bioproduct development, and agro-industrial waste valorization. My work bridges microbial cultivation, enzyme production, natural metabolite biosynthesis, and downstream bioproduct recovery with applications in health, AMR mitigation, bio-materials, and environmental sustainability. My research portfolio includes microbial enzyme production (fungal, bacterial), citric acid biosynthesis from agro-waste substrates, carotenoid synthesis, and development of wound-healing hydrogels. I routinely design and optimize fermentation and bioprocess workflows using DoE-based optimization (Plackett–Burman), and substrate utilization studies. Technical capabilities include microbial fermentation (batch, fed-batch, continuous), enzyme purification and characterization, analytical methods (UV-Vis, FTIR, microscopy), biocatalysis, natural product screening, and downstream processing. I collaborate with academic groups, startups, and innovation teams on biotechnology R&D, problem-solving projects, and research translation aimed at sustainable bioprocessing and green biotechnology.
