Profile Summary

My background is in illustration though I have worked the past 8 years as a support specialist (Designing Future Wheat) for the Uauy Lab in the crop genetics department of the John Innes Centre. Paths collided, bringing years of experience in the design industry together with a new education in plant science. Initially I provided illustration work for our own lab, and various others at the JIC, almost always related to plant biology which I would consider to be my speciality, though over recent years I have had the privilege to work with many other institutes worldwide, on many different research projects. I work full-time at the JIC, and do my illustration work during the evening and weekends.
