Profile Summary

I am an Assistant Professor in Chemistry Department of Federal Urdu University Karachi Pakistan. I am permanent faculty member since 23 years. I am teaching Organic Chemistry and Computational Chemistry at graduate and under graduate levels. I have interest in calculations of Acid Dissociation Constant (pKa) and Tautomeric Constant (KT) through computations. I published articles related to pKa and KT computations and presented my research work in national and international conferences. Molecular modelling specially molecular switches and prediction of molecular properties through computations are main area of my research interest. Currently I am working on pKa calculations of Carboxylic acids and Phosphonic acids to study the physiological behaviour when Carboxylic group is substituted by Phosphonic group.
