Profile Summary

I am a postdoctoral researcher studying climate change impacts, majorlly working on coastal environment, forest biomass and groundwater concerns. My research focuses on a wide range of processes near the shore, including sea level rise, extreme events, groundwater depletion, and social and transitional issues. At present I work on the detection of land subsidence and its relationship to sea-level rise, groundwater, and coastal inundation. My international research collaboration includes evaluation of coastal physical and economic risks identification for a GCRF project. In my research, I used satellite data, spatial analytic tools, artificial neural networks, wavelet analysis, and Python. I keep myself up to date on climate policies, transition risks, and SDGs 11–13. Apart from that, I enjoy teaching, raising public awareness about the current climate problem and its importance.
