Profile Summary

In my Industry oriented roles, as a Lead Scientist, I successfully led multiple projects on the design and development of Viral Vectors such as Lentiviral Vectors (LVV) for CAR-T and AAV, Cell line & Vector engineering, Upstream & downstream process development, development of bioanalytical, immunological, and cell-based assays, such as qPCR, ddPCR, ELISA, Flow Cytometry, NGS & potency assays for characterization of LVV and AAV. These efforts resulted in scalable, high-titer vector production and reliable analytical platforms that supported both discovery and manufacturing. I have a PhD in Virology and over ten years of combined academic & Industrial experience in Viral Vectors, Virology, cell and gene therapy, Process development, and Bioanalytical assay development, including Next-Generation Sequencing technologies. Throughout my career, I have focused on advancing the science of Biotherapeutics and collaborative execution. Also, I worked extensively on the role of RNA modification pathways, such as RNA methylation, on the biology of various viruses, including HSV-1, Coronaviruses, Neurovirology, Latency & reactivation of HSV-1 in primary neurons, the development/Engineering of viral vectors (Lentiviral, Retroviral & Adenoviral vectors), and the development of various cutting-edge technologies.
