Profile Summary

Tourism and hospitality researcher and consultant with extensive academic and professional experience in higher education, international projects and applied research. My work focuses on tourism and hospitality management, sustainability in tourism, organizational management and strategic benchmarking in service industries. I collaborate with organisations, consulting firms and research teams on projects related to tourism and hospitality management, sustainability assessment, benchmarking, literature reviews, research design and analytical report writing. I collaborate with academic institutions, research organisations and consulting teams on projects related to tourism development, sustainability assessment and hospitality management practices. During a university career spanning several decades, I have served as Full Professor and academic leader, supervising master's and PhD research and coordinating national and international academic projects for more than twenty years. My experience also includes curriculum development, academic programme coordination and Erasmus academic management. I have published research in international peer-reviewed journals in the fields of hospitality management, strategic maintenance management, tourism development and sustainability communication.
