Profile Summary

I'm tremendously heavy on hypothesizing data science problems to cases that are business viable. I have a great experience in working on a variety of data science projects and implementing them on a large scale on distributed systems. I've got a great aptitude for writing content along with business acumen. I have been working in the Adtech sector for the last three years and built a variety of machine learning and deep learning models. In my last project, I designed, architected and built an automated Intelligence Platform that inputs user data, run perspective, and predictive models like Lead Generation, CLV, Churn Analysis, etc followed by producing analytics. Before this project, I hypothesized and implemented a pricing model to allocate a fair share of revenue to multiple data sources. I've also taken up probabilistic modeling projects for different use-cases, that essentially required to align one distribution to another. I used the MCMC Metropolis-Hastings technique and stratified sampling to achieve the same. Recommendation modeling is another area I've worked extensively in, by trying out various techniques ranging from SVD with SGD to ALS on both standalone and distributed systems. Prior to this stunt, I was working with Samsung Research on a Computer Vision project and delivered a cloud-based distributed application to generate comprehensive summaries for videos, which involved extracting objects through RCNN and a set of meta-heuristics. For another project, I designed and implemented an algorithm for seamless cloud sync of media(videos and photos) from the device as part of an android application, similar to what 'Google Photos' does. I also extended the algorithm to automatic detection of confidential/private pics using various Deep learning techniques like pose estimation, ID detection, etc. I've some hands-on experience in backend engineering as well with Flask and Spring frameworks. I also mentor for an Artificial Intelligence course on Springboard, a platform for Data Science careers. On the side, I keep working on generative models like Text Generation using VAE and Sequential models. Computer Vision is another field of interest andI've trained models on Image Segmentation, Image colorization, and Style Transfer. Apart from this, I'm equally enthralled by writing content and have published a few blogs on the areas I've worked in, like probabilistic modeling.
