DR. Shimaa M.Y., MSc. (2008), M.D., Ph.D. in medical Physiology (2013); has about 20 years of experience of teaching practical and theoretical medical physiology for under- and postgraduate medical and paramedical students, at physiology department, Faculty of Medicine, Suez Canal University (2013:2019) and Physiology Department, Faculty of Medicine, Rabigh Branch, King Abdulaziz University (2019: 2024). Currently, I am an assistant professor of Medical Physiology, King Abdulaziz University, Rabigh, Saudi Arabia (2019: 2022). Previously, has taught physiology to the first year students in Faculty of Dentistry, Suez Canal University (2015: 2018). A former member, in the Objective Structured Practical Evaluation (OSPE) committee, for the 1st year students; (2018). A Seminar Co-coordinator, for the 2nd year (2015-2018). A former member of Team-Based Learning Committee; (2018). A membr in the Quality Assurance Unit and Student Scientific Resesearch and Creativity Unit, KAU, Rabigh (2021-2022). Shimaa has 7 national, 19 international publications in indexed journals and 3 book chapters. She has many international conference and scientific days publications in the field of neuro- and electro-physiology including: in London (2014), in Turkey (2012), in Saudi Arabia (2021, 2023), and the virtual Symposium of the African Society of Physiological Sciences (2021).
